William Tice - President & Chief Executive Officer
William Tice is President and CEO of Eaglehawk, a position he has held since 2001. Mr. Tice’s primary areas of responsibility in the Company include investor relations, finance and administration, and strategic market planning. In addition, Mr. Tice is responsible for managing Eaglehawk’s third-party alliances and channel partner agreements.
Prior to joining Eaglehawk, Mr. Tice was Chief Executive Officer of Tower Distribution Technologies, Inc., a privately held infrastructure manufacturer in the wireless industry, and was Managing Director of the IT/Telecommunications Consulting Practice for Abt Associates Inc., a $200 million global consulting & research firm serving a broad range of private sector and government clients around the world. Early in his career Mr. Tice held a number of managerial positions in the telecommunications industry with Communications Satellite Corporation, NYNEX, and Bell Atlantic.
Mr. Tice has extensive executive and consulting experience in the information technology, software, and telecommunications industries, and has frequently spoken and written on a broad range of topics involving industry structure, corporate strategy, regulation, and technology change.
Mr. Tice holds an M.A. degree in Economics from Clark University and a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
M.D.M. Percival - Chief Technology Officer & System Architect
Mr. Percival is a founding director of Eaglehawk Limited and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer and System Architect, a position he has held since the Company was formed in 2000. Mr. Percival’s current responsibilities include product development and management of the Company’s technical staff.
Mr. Percival has been actively and continuously engaged over the past thirty years in the design and development of computer information and software systems. He has founded half a dozen software companies which have successfully commercialized a broad range of products including General Utility software, Business Accounting software, Commercial and International Banking software, Public Sector Applications software, Healthcare Database/Registry software and, most recently with Eaglehawk, Data Security software.
Mr. Percival was educated in New Zealand and after successfully developing a revolutionary commercial banking software application moved to Australia where his applications quickly captured the leading market share. While in Australia he also founded a software company that specialized in high-speed data entry that was successfully developed and marketed to the Australian Government.
After selling core financial services software technology to Wang Laboratories in the US, Mr. Percival turned his focus to the creation of Internet-based data management systems and networked healthcare applications and, as a result, formed Eaglehawk Limited as a vehicle to commercialize his work in these areas.
Mr. Percival has subsequently focused on the development of SBX Enigma™, an advanced server-based information security technology. Mr. Percival has also served as Eaglehawk’s primary technical resource during formal evaluations of SBX Enigma™ by the US Department of Homeland Security (ITEP Program) and the Australian Defence Signals Directorate (Common Criteria for Information Security Evaluation).
John L. Merity - Director
John Merity is a Company Director and Board member. Mr. Merity joined the Board in 2000 and has provided on-going legal counsel and business development assistance throughout his tenure with the Company.
Mr. Merity was formerly an attorney in private practice in Sydney, Australia, for over thirty years specializing in Commercial Law with an emphasis on public company financing and IPOs on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Mr. Merity also currently serves as corporate advisor to a number of private and listed companies.
John M.E. Percival - Director
John Percival is a Company Director and Board member. Mr. Percival joined the Board at the Company’s inception in 2000 and has provided on-going financial and business development assistance since that time.
Mr. Percival is presently the Managing Director of Goldsearch Limited, a minerals exploration firm headquartered in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining Goldsearch, Mr. Percival was the General Manager of Investments for Barclays Bank New Zealand Ltd., where he was responsible for all investment activities for the Bank including superannuation trustees, large private investors and corporations as well as asset allocation and stock market activity.
Mr. Percival currently serves as an advisor to a range of companies and holds a number of private directorships, primarily focused in the extractive and natural resource industries.
